Help

Luminous Social is a workspace for the file — not a substitute for the probate code, local rules, or counsel.

Open a matter

From the dashboard, start an estate or a guardianship / conservatorship matter. Add the court, county, case number, and your role when you have them — intake can lag the actual filing.

Dates you enter, not dates we invent

Suggested deadline labels (creditor claims, inventory, first accounting) are titles only. Due dates come from you. Probate clocks vary by state and sometimes by county; a wrong default would be worse than a blank field.

Inventory and the ledger

Log assets with estimated values as you identify them. The ledger is income, expenses, and distributions — the running numbers an informal accounting starts from. Print both as working drafts from the matter page.

Guardianship contact log

Many courts expect documented, periodic contact with the protected person. The contact log is that record. A 30-day gap is a reminder on the matter, not a legal requirement we are enforcing.

Team seats

Firm-plan owners can add colleagues who already have a Luminous Social account. Team members work on the owner’s matters and cannot change billing.

Share links

Each matter can get a read-only link. Revoke it any time. Do not put privileged strategy notes on a shared file if the recipient should not see them.

Exports

Inventory, accounting, time, and care-log reports can be printed or saved as PDF from the browser, and downloaded as CSV for Excel. Calendar supports an .ics download for Outlook or Google Calendar.
